Achieve your dream teeth with the Bleaching method.
It is an oxygenation method used to whiten teeth that have changed color for various reasons or to lighten a few tones of personalized tooth color.
The natural colors of the teeth darken with years and external factors.
A satisfactory whitening and a beautiful smile is obtained by opening the teeth 2-10 tones with the teeth whitening procedure that can be done in the office or at home. Bleaching process should be applied under professional control.
Internal coloration: These are stains that have penetrated into the tooth and cannot be removed by brushing. Structural defects that occur during the formation of teeth are also included in this class. The bleaching process is very successful in such cases.
External stains: These are the stains that adhere to the tooth surface from some foods, stains such as cigarettes, tea and coffee. It is mostly possible to get rid of these stains with tartar cleaning and professional brushing afterwards.
Different colorations require different treatments. For this reason, it is best to decide together with our dentists what type of application should be done.
How is Bleaching done?
Whitening is the process of removing discoloration that occurs in the structure of teeth. There are currently two different tooth whitening methods known. The first of these is a method that the patient can apply on his own, the stages are as follows:
The dentist takes measurements orally and prepares thin rubber molds that you can wear on your teeth,
Placing the medicine into the special mold prepared for the patient and placing this mold on the teeth to be bleached for at least 6 – 8 hours a day (preferably while sleeping),
The treatment is terminated within an average of 1 – 4 weeks.
The second method is bleaching performed by a physician in the clinic, which is applied as follows:
The bleaching drug is placed on the tooth by a physician experienced in this procedure.
A white light source is held on the relevant tooth for a certain period of time.
When the process is over, the result is observed immediately.
Although both methods are effective, the choice depends on the degree of coloration, how quickly the treatment is wanted to be terminated and the physician’s opinion.
Is bleaching safe?
Yes!
According to researches, bleaching of teeth is extremely effective and safe if done under the supervision of your dentist. Teeth and gums are not damaged in any way.
Will the teeth return to their original state after whitening?
Teeth will always be whiter than before. However, reinforcement therapy may be required depending on the habits and oral care of the patients.
What will I have to endure during the treatment?
If you smoke, do not smoke while the rubber mold is in your mouth (applicable for home bleaching). Slight cold-hot sensitivity that will disappear with the end of the treatment.
How long will bleached teeth stay white?
Teeth whitened by different bleaching methods remain white for a few years. But this period varies from person to person. Eating and drinking habits, smoking and brushing habits affect the duration of the teeth white.
It should be noted that bleaching may not always provide the whiteness you want. The rate of whitening depends on the tone of your teeth before the whitening process is applied and varies from person to person. That’s why you should discuss your expectations with your dentist in advance.
